Spacious studio in need of some TLC. This unit can be converted into a nice one bedroom. (See last photo of similar size unit in same building which was converted to a one bedroom). The parquet floors are in very good shape but just need a good sanding/screening. There are 5 custom size closets which offer an abundance of space. The kitchen is small but can be opened up to give the unit a more airy feel. (Owner next door did it and it's fantastic) The bathroom has good space but like the kitchen it is dated. The building is located one block north of the 1 train at 242nd St. In addition to the train you have access to the city bus No.9 and express bus BxM1/2. The building is also across the street from Van Cortlandt Park which offers a ton of activities. The building has a live-in super, porter, part time doorman, security cameras throughout the building. Exit to Post Road is on the 3rd Floor. The building is also pet friendly so long as your dog is under 35lbs. The laundry room is very large and has new machines. There is a garage but there is a waiting list. However, street parking isn't too bad. The building is pretty convenient to most shops and convenience stores.
